Born into a Texas family rooted in Western craft heritage, Jaxson learned the art of authentic Western wear design from his elders from an early age. After honing his skills at a top U.S. fashion design school, he saw a gap in the market: genuine Western apparel was either poorly made mass-produced goods or overpriced luxury pieces, putting true Western style out of reach for many enthusiasts. This inspired him to found GRfield, with a vision to blend time-honored Western craftsmanship with modern functionality, and make high-quality, authentic Western wear accessible.
Jaxson and his team source premium materials globally—Texas's durable raw denim, Tuscany’s full-grain leather, and Turkey’s breathable washed cotton—teaming up with eco-conscious artisanal suppliers across the globe. With design teams in Austin, Los Angeles and Milan, he brings together classic Western craft and contemporary design, hand-polishing every detail. “GRfield is for those who love Western style—we craft pieces that honor the West’s legacy, and fit modern life,” he says.
